Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists(NASSI)

  • Founded in 1978 by the military government of General Olusegun Obasanjo (Rtd) after a position paper by the Centre for Management Development that there is need for a BMO to cater for the interest of small businesses

  • Strong in all the 36 states of the Federation and also in most of the 774 LGAs
  • Number1 choice of engagement by many development agencies regarding Micro and small scale businesses in Nigeria.

Creating wealth through enterprise development that provides employment opportunity by the increased productivity and profitability of the operations of the members of Ogun chapter of NASSI. This we shall achieve by:

  • Developing the Ogun NASSI brand by creating a purpose driven, effective, efficient and innovative state secretariat
  • Engaging and partnering with the State Government in formulating sound enterprise and economic development policies through positive contributions at the state council for MSME
  • Converting vast and available human resources into vibrant human capital through frequent vocational training and skills acquisitions and capacity building seminars, trainings and workshops
  • Strengthening cooperatives under NASSI to serve as primary funding platforms for members
  • Developing a platform to enhance relationships with and assist development partners to attain objectives set by them for MSME development in Ogun State
  • Promoting effective communication among members to encourage cross fertilization of ideas, innovations and technological inventions to enhance productivity and create a platform for virtual sales of goods and services for and between members
  • Design and create programs that encourage youth entrepreneurship and mentoring
